On January 11, 2022, a seven-year-old girl from the village of Hmyryanka, Ichnia district, Chernihiv region, was hospitalized at the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Maria Kurylenko. She has a congenital heart defect - aneurysmal bulging of the atrial septum with signs of bypass surgery
Mariya needs endovascular correction of the defect with a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, which costs UAH 114,000.
The Foundation was approached by the girl's mother, Tatyana Lisovskaya, with a request to help purchase expensive consumables. The Foundation launched the project «Lend a helping hand to Maria's heart!». And on January 12, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Maria Kurylenko underwent X-ray endovascular closure of the secondary atrial septal defect. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on January 14, the girl was discharged home in a satisfactory condition and good mood.
