On August 26, 2022, a girl from the village of Tsukury, Kakhovka district, Kherson region, was consulted at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Antonova Anna, born on July 28, 2013. The Institute's specialists diagnosed her with a congenital heart defect - moderate to severe mitral heart failure. Mitral valve prolapse of the anterior leaflet in the A2 segment of HF 1 st.
The girl needs surgery to radically correct her heart defect under conditions of artificial circulation - mitral valve replacement. To do this, it is necessary to purchase a biological heart valve prosthesis made of bovine pericardium Vivere mitral, which costs 57,000 UAH.
Ania's family consists of her mother, Tetyana Viktorivna Lyapina, and her little brother Mykhailo. Even before the war started, the mother and her two children were forced to move to a small village of Tsukury in the Kakhovka district of Kherson region to live with her grandmother to separate from her father. Until February 24, Tetiana Viktorivna worked as a freelancer and raised her children. When the war broke out, their village was occupied by the Russian invaders and the family's life turned into hell.
The family was not immediately able to leave the village, but the explosions became more frequent and the decision was made. Now Anna, her mother, grandmother, and younger brother are in Poland as refugees.
The girl is a very cheerful, creative, kind and emotional girl, she loves to draw, make various crafts, dance, but after heart problems, all activities were urgently stopped. Now Ania attends school in Poland, her mother does not work and takes care of Mykhailo because there are no beds in the kindergarten. At present, the family's financial capabilities do not allow them to purchase a biological heart valve prosthesis made of bovine pericardium Vivere mitral and save Anna's heart. Her mother and grandmother are very worried about their little girl and dream of her healthy heart.
The girl's mother asked for help in raising funds to save Antonova Anna's heart.
