The project has been completed. The heart implant was purchased thanks to the International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and caring people.
On October 27, 2021, a little girl from Zhytomyr, Victoria Martynenko, who was born on December 22, 2018, was consulted at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The Institute's specialists diagnosed the child with a congenital heart defect - atrial septal aneurysm with a secondary atrial septal defect. Dilatation of the right heart. To eliminate this congenital heart defect, Victoria needs endovascular closure of the atrial septal defect with the Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with delivery system and measuring balloon, which costs UAH 114,000.
The family of the little girl is the mother, Olena Ihorivna Martynenko and Oleksandr Pavlovych Martynenko. The family lives in a small apartment in an ordinary apartment building. Olena Ihorivna is currently on maternity leave to care for little Victoria and receives UAH 860 of state child benefit per month. Oleksandr Pavlovych has a disability and receives a monthly state allowance of UAH 1,854. The family's financial resources are almost scarce to buy an expensive heart implant - a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon - and save the heart of their only sunshine, their little girl. Victoria is a cheerful, cheerful parental favorite, active and inquisitive. Her parents are very worried about their little girl and dream of her healthy heart.
The girl's mother asked the Foundation to help raise funds to save her heart.
