The project has been completed. The heart implant was purchased thanks to the International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and caring people.
On October 19, 2021, a girl from the village of Chernyakhiv, Chernyakhiv district, Zhytomyr region, was consulted at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Pokrasa Oleksandra, born on May 15, 2014. The Institute's specialists diagnosed the girl with congenital heart disease - aneurysmal protrusion with secondary atrial septal defect with a breakthrough and dilatation of the right heart. To eliminate this congenital heart defect, Oleksandra needs endovascular surgery with the installation of a Figulla Flex II ASD cardiac implant with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, which costs UAH 114,000.
Oleksandra's family consists of her mother, Yulia Serhiivna Noverko, who divorced the girl's father on June 25, 2015, and Yulia Serhiivna's second husband, Roman Mykhailovych Noverko. Now the family lives in the village of Bilohorodka, Kyiv region, in rented housing, where Roman Mykhailovych has a job.
Her mother is a housewife and takes care of her daughter and household chores. Oleksandra's father pays alimony by court order. The family's current financial capabilities do not allow them to purchase an expensive heart implant - a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon - to treat their only daughter's congenital heart defect.
Oleksandra is an obedient, friendly, very pleasant, cheerful and active girl, she loves to go to school, she is now in the second grade. She likes to draw, make beaded bracelets, make various crafts and applications. She often helps her mother with the housework. When she grows up, she dreams of becoming a teacher. Sometimes Oleksandra's heartbeat speeds up and she feels sick, and her face becomes very pale. Her mother's main wish is for her dear daughter to be healthy.
Her mother asked the Foundation to help raise funds to save Oleksandra's heart.
