The project has been completed. The heart implant was purchased thanks to charitable donations from Vodafone Ukraine and caring people.
On July 11, 2019, the mother of a little girl from the village of Ulyanovka, Skadovsk district, Kherson region, Nikiforova Vasilisa, Nikiforova Marina Alekseevna, asked the Foundation to help save her little daughter's heart. Vasilisa, born on November 04, 2014, has a congenital heart defect - an open arterial duct. To eliminate this congenital heart defect, Vasilisa needs endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus with a cardiac implant - the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral system, the cost of which is 60 027 UAH.
The girl is being raised by her mother alone: she and Vasylisa's father, Vasyl Nikiforov, are divorced and live separately. The mother and daughter live together with their parents in their parents« house in the village of Ulianivka, Skadovsk district, Kherson region. The mother has no permanent job, only seasonal employment. The family's income is meager, so they are unable to purchase an expensive heart implant - the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral system - to treat their daughter's congenital heart disease. Marina Oleksiyivna is very worried about the health of her only daughter, and asks for help to save her heart: »Vasilisa Nikiforova is our little and cheerful angel. She has long dreamed of doing rhythmic gymnastics. But her dream is hindered by the diagnosis that was made in the first year of her life - the patent ductus arteriosus. I have no opportunity to raise money for the operation, as I work in temporary seasonal jobs. Please save our daughter's health and help her dream come true.".
