On February 20, 2019, a sixteen-year-old boy from Kyiv was hospitalized in the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Nebzhytskyi Vladyslav. Slava has a congenital heart defect - a large secondary atrial septal defect and moderate tricuspid insufficiency, and he needs endovascular closure of the secondary atrial septal defect with the Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon.
Vladyslav's mother, Lyudmila Nebzhytska, asked the Foundation to help her son purchase expensive medical supplies. To save the boy's heart, we did the following project «Let's save Vladyslav's heart!» and posted it on the Foundation's website and Facebook page, as well as all the necessary supporting documents.
Vladislav's heart was immediately helped by ICF «International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin», who purchased the necessary Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with delivery system and measuring balloon and donated it to the Heart Institute. We are sincerely grateful to them!
On March 04, 2019, Vladyslav Nebzhytskyi underwent X-ray endovascular closure of a large secondary atrial septal defect at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on March 11, the guy was discharged home in satisfactory condition.
We, along with Vladyslav, his parents and younger sister Angelina, are grateful to the International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, which provided the Heart Institute with a heart implant to eliminate the boy's congenital heart defect and saved his life.
Vladislav, we wish you happiness, health and a peaceful sky. All the best!
