On July 16, our former ward, a five-year-old boy from Kyiv, Danylo Khomenko, came to the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for a check-up examination of his heart with his mother Maryna Anatoliyivna.
On December 21, 2018, the Heart Institute performed X-ray endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus Daniel.
Our constant friend and partner ICF «International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos» provided assistance in saving the boy's congenital heart defect, which purchased the necessary heart implant to make Dany's heart healthy.
Unfortunately, we were not able to meet the boy in person, but Daniil's mother told us that everything went well and the boy's heart is healthy. Very soon Danya will start swimming, which he has been dreaming of for so long.
But we were not left without a gift, our collection of teddy bears was replenished with another friend from Daniil. Thank you!
