05-02-2019
Dear friends,
In January-December 2018, the International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin implemented numerous charitable projects in the field of historical and cultural heritage, healthcare, maternity, childhood and family protection, and co-organized festivals, conferences, competitions and other events.

We would like to draw special attention to our cooperation.
This year, the implementation of the all-Ukrainian Help Your Heart Beat program«, program, under which 59 children with congenital heart disease received cardiac surgery at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The Foundation also supported project Heart Institute «Field crews», which has helped to implement measures for the preliminary diagnosis of cardiac diseases in children in many regions of Ukraine.

The total budget for the program in 2018 is more than UAH 9.5 million. UAH.

And more about plans for the future ...
In 2019, at the initiative of Vadym Novynskyi's Foundation, together with the Heart on the Palm Foundation« a new innovative project to create a hybrid operating unit is launched - site equipped with modern medical equipment that can save many lives. The project will be implemented on the basis of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the leading cardiac surgery center in our country. More than 6 thousand operations are performed here annually. One person out of every fifty operated on needs hybrid surgery. Surgical intervention in such an operating room takes less time, but allows solving more complex problems, both cardiac and related. Reducing the time of surgery in a hybrid operating room reduces the risk of death, shortens the rehabilitation period, which reduces the consequences that can lead to disability of the patient.

It should be noted that this project has no analogues in Ukraine. Now the most modern, innovative, minimally invasive technologies will be available to Ukrainians. The Foundation plans to allocate about UAH 15 million for its implementation. UAH.
