Daria Onishchuk

On January 28, 2019, a girl from the city of Kovel, Volyn region, was hospitalized to the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Daria Onishchuk. Darya has a congenital heart defect - a secondary atrial septal defect and minimal tricuspid insufficiency, she needs endovascular closure of the secondary atrial septal defect with the Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon.

About the girl's heart problem, we told our friends and partners - the To the National Committee of Miss Ukraine«, and asked for help. Our beauties were happy to support Daria by telling her story in the project «Beauty with a Purpose», this is the seventh child whose heart our beauties took part in saving. Together with the National Committee of Miss Ukraine, our friend and partner joined in saving the girl's heart ICF «International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin». And now the funds have been provided, the consumables have been purchased, and the much-needed surgery was performed on January 31 at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. 

 

Thanks to the big and kind hearts of our friends, another heart and life of a young girl have been saved! The postoperative period was uneventful, and on February 4, Daria was discharged home in a satisfactory condition. But how shocked the girl and her mother were when the rescuers - Miss Ukraine 2018 Leonila Guz, Executive Director of the Miss Ukraine National Committee Victoria Kiose and project coordinator Yulia Stepchenko - visited them. Dasha presented the beauties with her own handmade work. And Dasha presented the Foundation with a very interestingly made heart. Thank you
