The project has been completed. The heart implant was purchased by Plastics-Ukraine LLC.
On August 21, 2018, a little boy from the village of Kyselivka, Bilozersky district, Kherson region, Chumakin Anton, born on June 16, 2014, was consulted at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Specialists of the Heart Institute diagnosed Anton with congenital heart disease - perimembranous defect of the interventricular septum and additional left superior vena cava. To eliminate this congenital heart defect, the boy needs endovascular correction of the defect with a cardiac implant - the Nit Occlud Le VSD occluder, the cost of which is 113 741 UAH.
Anton's family consists of his mother, Oksana Oleksiivna Chumakina, and two older brothers, ten-year-old Denys and twelve-year-old Serhii. The family lives in the village of Kyselivka, Bilozersky district, Kherson region, in a rented house. Anton's mother is temporarily unemployed, and it is difficult to find work in the village. The family's financial resources are made up of state aid for children, which totals 6,700 UAH. It is quite clear that it is impossible to raise funds for a heart implant for their young son on their own. The main wish of Oksana's mother is that her little boy's heart becomes healthy. Anton is a cheerful and lively boy, he loves to spend time outside and always helps his mother with the housework.
The boy's mother turned to the Foundation with a request to help raise funds to purchase a heart implant - a Nit Occlud Le occluder - to treat Anton's congenital heart disease.
