The project has been completed. The heart implant was purchased thanks to charitable donations from Vodafone Ukraine.
On October 18, 2017, the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine consulted Roman Muzychenko, a boy from the village of Kozelets, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region, born on June 16, 2004. The boy was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect - a small atrial septal aneurysm with a breakthrough. Roman needs endovascular correction of the defect with a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, the cost of which is 98 000 UAH
Roman's family consists of his mother, Svitlana Ivanovna Muzychenko, his father, Oleksandr Opanasovych Muzychenko, and his younger four-year-old brother, Nazar. His mother works as a nurse in the outpatient department of the Kozelets District Hospital, and his father is temporarily unemployed. The family lives in their parents' house, together with their grandmother, as they do not have their own home. The family's income is very low and they cannot raise money for a heart implant for their son on their own.
Roman's mother turned to the Foundation with a request to help raise funds to purchase expensive medical supplies for her son.
We appeal to all people with a generous and kind heart, help save Roman's heart!
