Objectives:
1. Influencing central and local authorities to protect children and women from violence.
2. Stimulating national adoption and development of family-based forms of upbringing of children deprived of parental care and custody, and restoration of biological families
3. Support for biological families with children in difficult life circumstances
4. Promoting the activities of human rights defenders and highlighting the results of these activities
5. Informing the public about human rights and ways to protect them
Background:
The organization was founded in 2001 as a public initiative of a group of journalists who united to protect the rights of children and families in difficult life circumstances.
In 2005, Magnolia was registered as an all-Ukrainian public organization. In 2015, Magnolia became a co-founder of the Ukrainian Child Rights Network.
