He was admitted to the pediatric congenital heart disease department for endovascular closure of the defect with the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral system to eliminate the patent ductus arteriosus defect, which cost UAH 52,965.
Bohdan's family consists of his mother, Oksana Lukashova, and his younger sister, Margarita, who is two years old. Bohdan's father, Vasyl Volodymyrovych, does not live with the family, but he takes care of the children and supports them financially, working as a mechanic at a service station.
Bohdan lives with his family in the village of Peredilske, Luhansk, Luhansk region. The boy's mother is unemployed and on maternity leave to care for her young daughter. The family has a small income, so they are unable to find the funds to purchase expensive consumables on their own.
With a request to provide charitable assistance in purchasing the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral system to repair Bohdan's patent ductus arteriosus, the Foundation turned to MTS Ukraine and received support, which allowed the boy to undergo endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus with the spiral system on October 20 at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on October 23, Bohdan was discharged home in satisfactory condition.
We, along with Bohdan and his mother, are sincerely grateful to MTS Ukraine, which provided the necessary consumables to eliminate the boy's congenital heart defect
We wish Bohdan and his family a peaceful sky, happiness, health and success.
