Congenital heart and vascular defects most often lead to the death of children under the age of 1. 70% babies need surgery in the first year of life. Treatment of congenital heart defects in children involves the purchase of expensive consumables that are not fully covered by the state, and the financial capacity of parents is extremely low. For orphans, children from large, single-parent and socially disadvantaged families, the only way to get a life-saving surgery is through charity. That is why our Foundation actively implements the charity program «Let's Save a Child's Life Together!».

Thank you, gratitude, benefactors - all these words denote the best in a person, as they all come from the words «gratitude and good». And the ability to be grateful is one of the main valuable traits in a person's character. It has become a tradition for the Heart on a Palm Charitable Foundation to say «Thank you» to people who do good and support others.

The Heart on a Palm Charitable Foundation and young patients with congenital heart disease who are treated at the Kyiv Heart Center express their sincere gratitude to Yukhym Leonidovych Zvyagilskyi and the O. Zasyadko Mine for their charitable assistance.

At the end of August 2012, the scheduled collection of charity donation boxes installed in SKODA car dealerships was carried out as part of the Warmth of Hearts social and charitable project, which was organized in 2008 by Eurocar in cooperation with the SKODA dealer network in Ukraine.

As a follow-up to the Warmth of Hearts social and charitable project, organized by Eurocar in cooperation with the SKODA dealer network in Ukraine since 2008, transparent donation boxes were installed in 28 SKODA dealerships in early April this year to attract charitable donations. All the funds received will be used to implement the Foundation's charity program «Let's Save a Child's Life Together!».

To help provide all the wards of the children's department of the Heart Center with TV sets, our Foundation turned to its constant friend and partner in the Warmth of Hearts social project, Eurocar. Watching cartoons and positive children's programs is very important for kids during the recovery period and plays a significant role in the process of emotional relief for parents who care for sick children. Our initiative was supported and on May 29, 6 sets (TV and DVD player) were presented to the Cardiac Surgery Department No. 3 of the Kyiv Heart Center (a department for the treatment of young children).
