A gift from the Peace Corps, Switzerland

In early October, the President of the Foundation B.M. Todurov met with a representative of Peace Corps International, Switzerland, Mr. Martin Peter Riess. During the talks, an agreement was reached on prospective cooperation between the two organizations. The Swiss side offered to transfer through the Foundation the humanitarian aid that Ukraine needs so much today - medical supplies, medical equipment for the wounded (crutches and wheelchairs, warm clothes and shoes).
On November 10, Mr. Martin arrived in Ukraine and brought the first charitable gift - 20 boxes of diapers, 15 boxes of elastic bandages, 32 crutches, 2 wheelchairs, children's toys, clothes for children and adults.
We express our sincere gratitude to the people and companies of Switzerland for the humanitarian aid that has been donated to the children's congenital defects department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the orphanage in Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast, and the Aidar, Kyiv and other volunteer battalions, and we hope that our Swiss colleagues will continue to be our good friends and partners.
