In this extremely difficult time for Ukraine, when tens of thousands of civilians have been subjected to deadly bombardment by the Russian Federation and injured, and a huge number of our citizens have become temporary displaced and lost their homes, support and assistance for Ukrainians is very important and necessary.

 

Thanks to Getinge, the Extracorporeal Treatment Department of the Heart Institute received consumables for cardiac bypass surgery and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, including hemoconcentrators, oxygenators, newborn kits, and extracorporeal heart and lung support. This will help support the full-fledged work of the unit and reduce the financial burden on patients who are already suffering significant material losses due to Russian aggression.
