Dear friends!

Today, the State Institution “Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” (formerly “Kyiv City Heart Center”) is the leading cardiac surgery clinic in Ukraine, the only one in our country that operates according to European standards. The Heart Institute employs professionals who successfully perform complex operations, heart transplants and many other unique cardiac surgical interventions. Treatment of congenital heart defects in children has long been one of the priority areas of our clinic.

However, the lack of state funding means that we cannot always provide timely assistance to orphans and children from low-income families, especially when it comes to purchasing expensive consumables. In order to help such children, our clinic specialists organized the Heart on the Palm charity foundation.

When children get sick and die, you realize with particular bitterness that the future of the people and the whole country is dying. I am addressing you not only as a doctor, but first and foremost as a human being.

Do not be indifferent, do not stand aside!
