Little Valeria is looking forward to your help!

On June 13, 2019, a little girl from Rivne, Rivne region, Valeria Antoniuk, born on June 25, 2016, was consulted at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The Institute's specialists diagnosed a congenital heart defect - an open arterial duct. To eliminate this congenital heart defect, the girl needs urgent endovascular surgery with the use of a heart implant - an occluder to eliminate the open arterial duct Nit-Occlud PDA-R. The cost of such a consumable is UAH 77,040.

 

The girl's family consists of her mother, Maryna Antoniuk, her father, Oleksandr Antoniuk, and her older brother, ten-year-old Stanislav. The family lives in the city of Rivne in a one-room apartment in their parents' house. Valeriia's mother is currently on maternity leave to care for her young daughter, and her father is working temporary jobs. The family's financial resources do not allow them to purchase an expensive heart implant - the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral system - to treat their little girl's congenital heart defect. The most important wish of the parents is that their little Valeria has a healthy heart. 

Valeria is a very lively, cheerful and playful girl who loves to dance.

The girl's mother asked the Foundation to help raise funds to save her little daughter's heart.
