The project has been completed. The heart implant was purchased thanks to the International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and caring people.
On June 25, 2019, a girl from the village of Kryve, Tyachiv district, Transcarpathian region, was consulted at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Krulko Nadiia, who was born on July 24, 2003. The Institute's specialists diagnosed Nadiya with congenital heart disease - a secondary defect of the atrial septum in the central part and mitral valve prolapse. To eliminate this congenital heart defect, the girl needs urgent endovascular closure of the secondary atrial septal defect with a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, which costs UAH 105,000.
Nadiia's family consists of her mother, Svitlana Krulko, her father, Ivan Krulko, and her younger sister, seven-year-old Daryna. Valentyna Volodymyrivna is divorced from her husband and raises her daughter alone. The father pays monthly alimony in the amount of UAH 500 by court order. The family lives in the village of Kryve, Tyachiv district, Zakarpattia region, in her parents' house, together with her parents and has a small farm. The mother does not work, she takes care of the house and the children, and the youngest daughter is preparing to go to first grade. The sole breadwinner of the family is the father, who works as a driver abroad in the Czech Republic. The family's financial capabilities do not allow them to purchase an expensive heart implant - a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon - for the treatment of their daughter's congenital heart disease. Nadiia - graduated from the 10th grade of Tyachiv School No. 2 and is preparing to enter the 11th grade. The girl is a very good student, she is going for a gold medal and pays great attention to learning English. Nadiia is a very nice, intelligent and open-minded girl who loves to read science fiction. Her parents want their eldest daughter to be healthy.
The Foundation was asked by the girl's mother to help raise funds to save Krulko Nadia's heart.
