Give a helping hand to Natalia's heart!

On November 19, 2018, a girl from Kyiv, Gardzel Natalia, born on March 14, 2005, was consulted at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The Institute's specialists diagnosed Natalia with a congenital heart defect - a secondary defect of the atrial septum and a small dilatation of the right heart. To eliminate this congenital heart defect, the girl needs endovascular closure of the secondary atrial septal defect with a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, which costs UAH 105,000. 

 

Natalia's family consists of her mother, Maryna Viktorivna Gerasymchuk, who is raising two children alone. The family lives in Kyiv in her parents' two-room apartment, with nine people living there. The mother works at temporary jobs, without official registration. The family's financial capabilities do not allow them to purchase an expensive heart implant - a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon - to treat their daughter's congenital heart disease. Natalia is a pleasant and open-minded girl who dreams of a healthy heart.  

The Foundation was asked by the girl's mother to help raise funds to save her heart, Gardzel Natalia.
