Ministry of Health of Ukraine» in the city of Lutsk, Volyn region, was inspected
A fifteen-year-old girl from Lutsk, Lashch Oleksandra Ruslanivna, who
was born on June 26, 2009. The Institute's specialists diagnosed the girl with
congenital heart disease - a wide oval window by the type of secondary defect
of the interatrial septum and moderate enlargement of the right atrium.
To eliminate this congenital heart defect, Oleksandra needs endovascular surgery with the implantation of a cardiac implant - Xeapt P XJFS2525 occluder with Stiirease SFA 10F introducer, the cost of the set is UAH 165,796.50.
The girl's mother, Nadezhda Lashch, who works as a sales manager at Edelvika Private Joint Stock Company, asked the Foundation to help purchase the expensive consumables: «My name is Nadiia. My husband and I are raising two children - a Oleksandr and Vladyslav. The younger son has a chronic kidney disease, and has already for more than five years. He has a disability and needs constant medical treatment and survey .
Oleksandra's daughter is the eldest, she is 15, she studies English and is fond of She is a kind and sympathetic girl. But now she needs help herself. From. birth, she was diagnosed with an open oval window in her heart - an opening in the interatrial septum, which in most children closes on its own in the first years of life. Unfortunately, this did not happen in our case.
After the last examination, doctors recommend endovascular surgery - a modern low-trauma intervention that will help to live a full life without threats in the future. But such an operation is a significant funds. We are trying very hard to cope on our own, but now we have to to ask for help. We will be immensely grateful for any help and the chance to for a healthy future for our daughter.»
Oleksandra's family lives in Lutsk, Volyn region, in a small private house. Her father, Ruslan Lashch, takes care of their youngest son and receives social assistance for a disabled child. The family's current financial capabilities do not allow them to purchase an expensive cardiac implant - the Xeapt P XJFS2525 occluder with the Stiirease SFA 10F introducer, to close a wide oval window for a secondary atrial septal defect, to treat their elder daughter's congenital heart disease.
Oleksandra, a very nice and active girl, is calm and purposeful, loves foreign languages, and is interested in psychology. Sometimes her heartbeat increases and her health deteriorates, and she is not allowed to exercise, although Oleksandra dreams of leading an active lifestyle like her peers.
The main wish of the parents is that their daughter recovers as soon as possible.
