On October 22, 2019, a boy from the city of Irpin, Kyiv region, was hospitalized at the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Deryugin Roman, Roman was born on March 28, 2015. Roman has a congenital heart defect - a patent ductus arteriosus and a slight dilatation of the left ventricle and pulmonary artery trunk. He needs endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus with a cardiac implant - the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral system.

About the boy's heart problem, we told our friends and partners - the National Committee of Miss Ukraine«, and asked for help. Our beauties were happy to support Roman by telling his story in project «Beauty with a purpose», This is the eighth child whose heart was saved by our beauties. And now the funds have been provided, the consumables have been purchased, and Roman's much-needed surgery was performed on October 23 at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
