Stanislav Krasnobryzhyi

On April 19, 2021, a handsome and cheerful boy from Drohobych, Lviv region, was hospitalized in the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Stanislav Krasnobryzhyi, who was born on February 14, 2013. The boy has a congenital heart defect - an atrial septal aneurysm with an 8 mm rupture. 

 

Stanislav needs endovascular closure of the atrial septal defect with the Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, which cost UAH 114,000.

 

Natalia Krasnobryzha, the boy's mother, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive consumables. The Foundation launched the project «Stanislav's heart really needs your help!». Thanks to the help of ICF «International Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary», Oleksandr Verteletskyi and caring people, The necessary expensive consumables were purchased and transferred to the Heart Institute. We sincerely thank everyone!

 

And on April 20, 2021, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, endovascular closure of the atrial septal defect with a cardiac implant - an occluder - was performed for Stanislav Krasnobryzhyi. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on April 22, the boy was discharged home in satisfactory condition.
