On July 29, 2019, a sixteen-year-old girl from the village of Kryve, Tyachiv district, Transcarpathian region, was hospitalized in the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Krulko Nadezhda. The girl has a congenital heart defect - a secondary atrial septal defect in the central part and mitral valve prolapse. Nadiia needs endovascular correction of the defect with the Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, which costs UAH 105,000.
Svetlana Krulko, the girl's mother, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive consumables. The Foundation started project «It's up to you to save Nadiya's heart!». And on July 30, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Nadiia Krulko underwent X-ray endovascular closure of the secondary atrial septal defect. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on August 1, the girl was discharged home in a satisfactory condition and good mood.
