Paul went away.

On September 03, 2019, a four-year-old boy from Mykolaiv was hospitalized at the Children's Department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Paul went away., who was born on January 05, 2015. Pavlo has a congenital heart defect - an open arterial duct. The boy needs endovascular closure of the defect with the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral kit, which costs 60 027 UAH.

Pavlo's mother, Iryna Mykolayivna Pishl, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive consumables. We started project «Paul's heart needs help!».  The Foundation posted information about the boy and all the necessary supporting documents on its website and Facebook page. The following companies offered their assistance in saving the little boy's congenital heart disease German company PFM MEDICAL AG, and directly Jens Nikelski and Dietmar Fiedler, who provided a Nit-Occlud PDA spiral kit for Pavlo.

On September 04, 2019, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, little Pishl Pavlo underwent X-ray endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on September 06, the boy was discharged home in a satisfactory condition and good mood.

Together with his mother, Iryna Mykolayivna, his older brother Mykola, all his relatives and friends, we are sincerely grateful to the German company PFM MEDICAL AG, and to Jens Nikelski and Dietmar Fiedler, who helped save the boy's life!
