Serdyuk Daria

On May 23, 2018, Daria Serdyuk, a girl from Kaharlyk, Kyiv region, born on July 05, 2007, was hospitalized at the Children's Department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The girl was diagnosed with congenital heart disease - a small perimembranous defect of the interventricular septum.
The girl needs endovascular closure of the defect with the Nit-Occlud Le VSD interventricular septal defect occluder, which costs UAH 122,515.
 
Ruslana Serdyuk, the girl's mother, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive consumables. The Foundation started project «Let's help Daria's heart become healthy!». We have posted information about the girl and all the necessary supporting documents on our website and Facebook page. 
 
Our constant friend and partner offered his help in saving Darya's congenital heart disease Vodafone Ukraine. Thanks to their support and caring people who also made donations to save the girl's heart, the necessary heart implant was purchased and transferred to the Heart Institute. 
On May 24, 2018, Daria Serdyuk underwent X-ray endovascular repair of the perimembranous ventricular septal defect at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on May 26, the girl was discharged home in a satisfactory condition.
 
We, together with the Serdyuk family, all their relatives and friends, are sincerely grateful to of Vodafone Ukraine, and the caring people who together ensured the purchase of the necessary heart implant to save the girl's heart. 

As a memento of her saved heart, Daria made a beautiful butterfly with her own hands and presented it to us. Thank you very much!
