On November 18, 2021, an eight-year-old boy from the village of Sartana, Mariupol district, Donetsk region, was hospitalized at the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Artem Yangicher. He has a congenital heart defect - a secondary atrial septal defect and left ventricular dilatation. Artemka needs endovascular closure of the atrial septal defect with the Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with delivery system and measuring balloon.
Alyona Yangicher, the boy's mother, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive medical supplies for her only son. The Foundation launched the project «Saving Artem's heart depends on us!». With a request to provide a charitable donation for the purchase of a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon for little Artemka, the Foundation turned to its regular and reliable partners, Vodafone Ukraine, and received support. Thanks to this company, the necessary heart implant was purchased and transferred to the Heart Institute. Our heartfelt thanks to them!
On November 22, 2021, the State Institution «Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine» performed endovascular closure of the atrial septal defect with a cardiac implant - Yangicher occluder - for Artem, and on November 24, the boy was discharged home in good mood and satisfactory condition.
We, along with Artem, his mother and all our relatives and friends, are grateful to Vodafone Ukraine, which provided the necessary consumables to eliminate the boy's congenital heart defect.
We wish Artem and his family good health, all the best and a peaceful sky.
