On March 19, 2025, a fourteen-year-old boy from the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, Kyrylo Yatchenko, was hospitalized in the children's department of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. He has a congenital heart defect - a secondary atrial septal defect and dilatation of the right heart.
To eliminate this congenital heart defect, Kyrylo needs endovascular closure of the atrial septal defect with the Xeapt P XJFS2525 occluder with
introducer Stiirease SFA 10F, the cost of the kit is UAH 165,796.50.
Yulia Yatchenko, the boy's mother, asked the Foundation to help with the purchase of expensive consumables, and
works at the regional branch of the Donetsk Railways. The Yatchenko family are internally displaced persons and now live in Dnipropetrovs'k region.
Thanks to our joint initiative in honor of Children's Day, between TM Sadochok, Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and ours Charitable Foundation “Heart for
palm”, we were able to quickly purchase the necessary expensive heart implant (Xeapt P XJFS2525 occluder with Stiirease SFA 10F introducer) and
to the Heart Institute pharmacy to save Kyrylo's heart.
And on March 19, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, X-ray endovascular closure of the secondary atrial defect was performed.

was discharged home.
As a memento of his stay at the Heart Institute, Kyrylo left us a very nice drawing with the name of our foundation. Thank you for such a wonderful gift.
