The girl has a congenital heart defect - a secondary atrial septal defect and dilatation of the right heart. Veronika needs endovascular correction of the defect with a Figulla Flex II ASD occluder with a delivery system and a measuring balloon, which costs UAH 105,000.<br \/><br \/><\/div><div>Yulia Salimovskaya, the girl's mother, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive consumables. The Foundation started\u00a0<strong>project <a href=\"https:\/\/heart-in-hand.in.ua\/en\/programs\/prostyagnit-ruku-dopomogi-veronitsi-z-bagatoditnoi-rodini\/\">\u00abGive a helping hand to Veronika from a large family!\u00bb<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0 We posted information about the girl and all the necessary supporting documents on our website and Facebook page. <a href=\"https:\/\/heart-in-hand.in.ua\/en\/programs\/prostyagnit-ruku-dopomogi-veronitsi-z-bagatoditnoi-rodini\/\">https:\/\/heart-in-hand.in.ua\/programs\/prostyagnit-ruku-dopomogi-veronitsi-z-bagatoditnoi-rodini\/<\/a><\/div><div><br \/>Thanks to caring people and our good friend and partner\u00a0<strong>ICF \u00abInternational Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin\u00bb,<\/strong>\u00a0The necessary heart implant was purchased and transferred to the Heart Institute. We are sincerely grateful to everyone!<\/div><div><br \/>And on September 17, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Veronika Salimovska underwent X-ray endovascular closure of the secondary atrial septal defect.
