The girl has a congenital heart defect - an open arterial duct. Ksenia needs endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus with a cardiac implant - the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral system, which costs 68480 UAH.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Denis Yurievich Maksimov, the girl's father, asked the Foundation to help him purchase expensive consumables for his eldest daughter. The Foundation launched the project \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/heart-in-hand.in.ua\/en\/programs\/serdechko-ksenii-duzhe-chekaie-na-vashu-dopomohu\/\">Ksenia's heart is waiting for your help!<\/a>\u00bb. We have posted information about the girl and all the necessary supporting documents on our website and Facebook page.\u00a0<\/div><div>Our friend and partner ICF \u00abInternational Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary\u00bb responded to help the little girl's heart. Thanks to them, the necessary heart implant was purchased and transferred to the Heart Institute. Our heartfelt gratitude to them!<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>On May 23, 2019, at the State Institution \u00abHeart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine\u00bb, Ksenia Maksimova underwent X-ray endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on May 24, the girl was discharged home in a satisfactory condition and good mood.  As a souvenir, Ksenia presented us with a beautiful drawing.
