The girl has a congenital heart defect - an open arterial duct.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Karina needs endovascular closure of the defect with the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral kit.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div><div>Yulia Revutska, the girl's mother, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive medical supplies for her daughter. The Foundation started\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/heart-in-hand.in.ua\/en\/programs\/prostiahnit-ruku-dopomohy-zhyttieradisniy-karyni\/\">\u00abLend a helping hand to cheerful Karina!\u00bb project.<\/a> We posted information about the girl and all the necessary supporting documents on our website and Facebook page.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Our friend and partner immediately responded to help the little girl's heart\u00a0<strong>ICF \u00abInternational Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin\u00bb<\/strong>. Thanks to him, the necessary heart implant was purchased and transferred to the Heart Institute. We are very grateful to them!<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>On April 17, 2019, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, endovascular correction of congenital heart disease - X-ray endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus - was performed for Karina Revutska.
