The boy has a congenital heart defect - an open arterial duct. Danylo needs endovascular closure of the defect with the Nit-Occlud PDA spiral set. \u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>The Foundation was approached by little Danylo's mother, Tatyana Rai, with a request to help purchase expensive consumables. We started the project <a href=\"https:\/\/heart-in-hand.in.ua\/en\/programs\/malenkomu-danylu-vkray-neobkhidno-vriatuvaty-serdechko\/\">\u00abLittle Danylo really needs to have his heart saved!\u00bb<\/a>.  The Foundation posted information about the boy and all the necessary supporting documents on its website and Facebook page.\u00a0<\/div><div>Thanks to caring people and our good friend and partner\u00a0<strong>ICF \u00abInternational Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin\u00bb<\/strong>, The necessary heart implant was purchased and transferred to the Heart Institute. We are sincerely grateful to everyone!\u00a0<\/div><div>On January 22, 2019, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Danylo Vlasenko underwent X-ray endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus.
