The girl has a congenital heart defect - an open arterial duct and dilatation of the left ventricular cavity.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Vitalina needs endovascular correction of the defect with the Nit-Occlud PDA occluder, which costs UAH 68,480.<\/div><div>Oksana Pidsotska, her mother, asked the Foundation to help her purchase expensive medical supplies for her only daughter. The Foundation started\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/heart-in-hand.in.ua\/en\/programs\/malenkiy-vitalini-duzhe-potribno-vriatuvaty-serdechko\/\">project \u00abLittle Vitalina really needs to save her heart!\u00bb<\/a>We posted information about the girl and all the necessary supporting documents on our website and Facebook page.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>To help the heart of little Vitalina immediately responded\u00a0<strong>ICF \u00abInternational Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin\u00bb<\/strong>, who purchased the necessary heart implant and sent it to the Heart Institute. We sincerely thank them from the bottom of our hearts!<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>On November 22, 2018, at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Vitalina Yevchuk underwent X-ray endovascular closure of the patent ductus arteriosus. The postoperative period was uneventful, and on November 26, the girl was discharged home in a satisfactory condition.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>We, together with Vitalina, her mother, and all her family and friends, are sincerely grateful to\u00a0<strong>ICF \u00abInternational Charitable Foundation in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin\u00bb,<\/strong>\u00a0who helped save the girl's life! We are very pleased to have such a reliable friend and partner.
